Hello out there!

Yeah!  I finally decided to join the blogging world!  This way I won't have to feel as though I'm talking to myself.  Lol!  If I type it on a blog it's ok, right?!?!  Although, as I clicked around trying to self-teach myself how to set up this blog, I realized that I had an amazing blog set up about four or five years ago.  I wonder what ever happened to that?  I don't even remember the name of the blog, let alone the url or password.  I like to say I have "Sometimers."  Sometimes I remember, sometimes I don't!

I'm a fourth grade teacher in Aurora, Colorado, and just finished my 20th year of teaching.  I love teaching, and feel blessed to have been led down this career path!  I feel that I really can make a difference in the lives of students and enjoy working collaboratively with students' parents.  I've come to the realization that I do have a lot to share, and thus the beginning of my blogging career!

Anyway, I hope to use this blog to communicate with students, keep parents in the loop, share useful teaching resources, and introduce you to the amazing products I've created and posted on the TeachersPayTeachers website.  Be sure to follow me at Bloomin Bees to gain fabulous teaching tips and advice, as well as see the amazing resources I have available to help make your teaching life easier.  :-)

That being said, I'm wondering how often most people blog.  What do you think? Do you schedule a certain time for blogging or whenever the mood strikes?

  1. Janet! I love your blog - it's content and it's design. SOOO different than mine. Just goes to show what a blessing it is to join TpT, meet new people and open yourself up to new experiences. We all bring something different, and really great to the table. It looks like you had so much fun at the mile-high meet up. I will be following! And a pleasure to "meet you" over on FB. Perhaps we'll meet again in the forum or in a collaboration? Gina, PerfettoWritingRoom

  2. Gina,
Thank-you so much for taking the time to look at and follow my blog! Like you said, it is opening myself up to a new experience, but I think it will be fun. After 20 years of teaching surely I have something worthwhile to share. Please let me know your blog address, as I'd like to follow you too.
